Program Overview
The B.Com in Finance & Accounting is a three-year undergraduate program that provides a strong foundation in financial management, accounting principles, taxation, and auditing. It equips students with analytical and decision-making skills for careers in banking, investment, taxation, and corporate finance. Graduates can pursue roles as accountants, financial analysts, auditors, or continue with professional certifications like CA, CFA, or CMA.
Duration- 3 Years Program
Eligibility
Pass in 10+2 in Science/commerce stream with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/ OBC/SBC/Girls) marks in aggregate from CBSE / equivalent board.

For all eligible girl candidates enrolling in the 2026-27 academic session will receive an additional 5% scholarship in first year only.

Scholarship Award and Criteria
- The scholarship is granted based on the tuition fee
- Scholarships are determined based on the aggregate marks of the best five subjects.
- If the percentage has already been calculated by the board & mentioned on the marksheet, that will be considered and there will be no opportunity to recalculate using the best five subjects
- Scholarship is granted to 2025 and 2026 (10+2) pass-out students only.
Eligibility and Restrictions
- Students with a compartment in 12th are ineligible for UG program scholarships, even with provisional admission
- Each student can receive only one scholarship at a time.
- No changes to scholarship category are allowed during the same or later years of the program
- Those who are not eligible for the scholarship in the first year will also not be eligible in the second year.
Scholarship Continuation Criteria
- Scholarship eligibility is determined based on the CGPA of the previous academic year, considering theory papers only
- If a student has any backlog in the previous year, the SES Scholarship will be permanently discontinued, and the student will be required to pay the full applicable fee for the remaining years.
- Once a scholarship is discontinued, it cannot be reinstated for the remaining duration of the program.
Poornima University Presidents' Scholarship

This scholarship is strictly applicable to Armed Forces personnel and is not applicable to civilian job profiles. Submission of valid Defence Personnel proof is mandatory to claim this scholarship. Acceptable documents include a Dependent Card, Serving Certificate, or a copy of the Discharge Book. |

Effective from the employee’s date of joining in Poornima Group, JIET Group, and Medipulse Hospital. If the employee quits the services, this benefit will be discontinued for the upcoming course duration |

Key Notes:
Scholarship Continuity:
- The type of scholarship or category cannot be changed in the future
- Students receive the same scholarship type in future years, meeting the requirements.
- If a student is found to be involved in any disciplinary action, the scholarship will be discontinued with immediate effect.

Key Notes:
- Scholarship is given on tuition fee only
- For sports Scholarship Certificate dated on or after 1 January 2023 will be considered
- To avail sports scholarships, students must undergo a trial of the related sport
at Poornima University campus under the supervision of the Office of Associate
Dean, Hostel, and Sports (2nd Saturday of June, July & August). - A student is eligible for sports scholarships only if selected in trials at
Poornima University. Considered sports-Football, Volleyball, Table Tennis,
Basketball, Tennis, Cricket, Athletic, Chess, Kabaddi, American Football. Certificate required from recognized sports Federation /Associations/ SGFI (School games federation of India) - Recognition of Sports federation/association etc. will be at the sole discretion of the scholarship selection committee of Poornima University for the academic session.
- Certificates are required from recognized sports Federations/Associations/SGFI (School Games Federation of India).
Scholarship Continuation in next years:
- The scholarship will be calculated on basis of certification achieved in similar sport in previous year
- Students need to maintain the regular training regime in the University Campus
- If a student is found irregular in the training sessions of the respective sport (minimum 70% attendance required), in that case the scholarship will be discontinued
