Program Overview
The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with a specialization in Cyber Security combines comprehensive computer science education with an intense focus on safeguarding digital systems. This specialized curriculum covers network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, risk management, and digital forensics. Students gain expertise in identifying vulnerabilities, protecting against cyber threats, and developing secure systems. Graduates are equipped to tackle cyber threats, ensure data integrity, and pursue careers in cybersecurity consulting, threat analysis, or security architecture .

Eligibility
Passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / IT Engineering with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to ST/SC/OBC/SBC).

For all eligible girl candidates enrolling in the 2026-27 academic session will receive an additional 5% scholarship in first year only.

Scholarship Award and Criteria
- Scholarship is provided exclusively for tuition fees.
- Evaluation encompasses the aggregate scores of all graduation years.
- Scholarship is awarded to those who have graduated in or after 2019.
- 50% scholarship on tuition fees for NCC 'C' Certificate holders for Post Graduate Programs.
Eligibility and Restrictions
- Students with all backlogs cleared in the undergraduate degree are eligible for the scholarship.
- A student can avail only one scholarship at a time, and once opted, it cannot be changed or shifted in the same year or later years of the program.
- No alterations to the scholarship category are permitted during the same or subsequent years of the program.
- Those who are not eligible for the scholarship in the first year will also not be eligible in the second year.
Scholarship Continuation Criteria
- Scholarship eligibility is determined based on the CGPA of the previous year, considering only theory papers.
- If there are any backlogs in the previous year, the SES scholarship will be discontinued permanently for all upcoming years, and the student will be required to pay the full fee
- Once a scholarship is discontinued, it will not be reinstated for the remaining duration of the program.

This scholarship is strictly applicable to Armed Forces personnel and is not applicable to civilian job profiles. Submission of valid Defence Personnel proof is mandatory to claim this scholarship. Acceptable documents include a Dependent Card, Serving Certificate, or a copy of the Discharge Book. |

Effective from the employee’s date of joining in Poornima Group, JIET Group, and Medipulse Hospital. If the employee quits the services, this benefit will be discontinued for the upcoming course duration |

Key Notes:
Scholarship Continuity:
- The type of scholarship or category cannot be changed in the future
- Students receive the same scholarship type in future years, meeting the requirements.
- If a student is found to be involved in any disciplinary action, the scholarship will be discontinued with immediate effect.
