Scholarship Award and Criteria

• The scholarship is granted based on the tuition fee
• Scholarships are determined based on the aggregate marks of the best five subjects.
• If the percentage has already been calculated by the board & mentioned on the marksheet, that will be considered and there will be no opportunity to recalculate using the best five subjects
• Scholarship is granted to 2025 and 2026 (10+2) pass-out students only.

Eligibility and Restrictions

• Students with a compartment in 12th are ineligible for UG program scholarships, even with provisional admission
• Each student can receive only one scholarship at a time.
• No changes to scholarship category are allowed during the same or later years of the program
• Those who are not eligible for the scholarship in the first year will also not be eligible in the second year.

Scholarship Continuation Criteria

• Scholarship eligibility is determined based on the CGPA of the previous academic year, considering theory papers only
• If a student has any backlog in the previous year, the SES Scholarship will be permanently discontinued, and the student will be required to pay the full applicable fee for the remaining years.
• Once a scholarship is discontinued, it cannot be reinstated for the remaining duration of the program.

Poornima University Gramin Shiksha Yojna:

• Scholarship covers tuition and development fees
• Adopted Gram Panchayats: Beelwa, Ashawala, Vidhani, Bari ka Bas, Shree Ram Ki Nangal, and Chandlai
• Maximum 5 students from each village based on the merit list
• Minimum 60% marks in 12th is required.
• Schooling must be from the same village

Scholarship Continuity:

• The type of scholarship or category cannot be changed in the future
• Students receive the same scholarship type in future years, meeting the requirements.
• If a student is found to be involved in any disciplinary action, the scholarship will be discontinued with immediate effect.

• Scholarship is given on tuition fee only
• Sports scholarship certificates dated on or after January 1, 2023, will be considered.
• To avail sports scholarships, students must undergo a trial of the related sport at Poornima University campus under the supervision of the Office of Associate Dean, Hostel, and Sports (2nd Saturday of June, July, and August).
• A student is eligible for sports scholarships only if selected in trials at Poornima University except BBA Global. Considered sports include Football, Kho-Kho, Wushu, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Karate, Basketball, Tennis, Taekwondo, Cricket, Athletics, Wrestling, Chess, Kabaddi, Weightlifting, American Football, Boxing, Shooting, Badminton, Swimming, and Archery.
• Certificates are required from recognized sports Federations/Associations/SGFI (School Games Federation of India).
• A student can avail only one scholarship at a time, and once opted, it cannot be changed or shifted in the same year or later years of the program.
• Students not eligible for the scholarship in the first year will also not be eligible in subsequent years.
