Poornima University Hosts the International Conference on Recent Trends and Innovations in Engineering, Science, and Technology

At Poornima University, our mission is to evolve and develop skill-based systems for effective delivery of knowledge to equip young professionals with dedication and commitment to excellence in all spheres of life.

Since our inception, the faculty members and management has laid special focus on research and innovation in every sphere of education. Moving forward with our commitment, Poornima University organized an International conference on “Recent trends and innovations in engineering, science, and technology.”

The four-day conference held in December 2019 was organized to achieve a set of objectives that aimed at enhancing the knowledge of students and increasing collaborations among practitioners from all around the globe.

The various sessions organized as part of the conference were co-chaired by Mr Ashish Raj, Dr Neeraj Tiwari, Dr Madan Lal Saini, Dr Divya Prakash Dr Priti Kaushik, and Dr Alka Sharma- professor MNIT, Jaipur. During the conference, papers were presented on many concepts, some of which are:

• The adverse effect of LED on human health
• A comprehensive review of a microstrip antenna
• Research on solar technology, renewable energy resources, and power electronics
• Artificial intelligence including machine learning and deep learning
• Security and cryptography
• Digital printing and 3D simulation
• Interdisciplinary research papers on virtual reality

Each research paper was well supported with primary and secondary data that ensured authenticity and gave deep, meaningful insights to the audience.

Each paper selected to be presented before the jury was screened through multiple stages and was also followed by an interactive session with the jury and audience. This session ensured a greater level of involvement and solution to the queries of the audience.

With the support of our faculty members, students, and participants, the conference was successfully concluded by a valedictory program attended by our chief guest- Dr Swagata Payra and guest of honour- Dr P.V.S Raju. The concluding event was attended by more than 60 presenters, guests, and faculty members. Poornima hopes to achieve many more such milestones, which will help in the betterment of the students and give a new direction to the education.
