ABOUT PROGRAM

Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) in Interior Design is a 4 year degree course. The focus of this programme is to enhance the learner’s skill to solving problems along with understanding interiorspace Interactions through exercises developed around the same. Material technological knowledge blended with hands-on experience enables learner’s skills in projects.
The learning of interior Design is a cumulative process with an iterative process of development where it is used as a base for increasing the depth and breadth ofknowledge and development of skills in the following year. The workshops and seminars, with specific learning outcomes, improve the learner’s knowledge, skills and application. Project development exercises will therefore move from individual component towards a range of complexities that characterise the Indian context.
Design exercises build upon cultural and intellectual knowledge and skills, with relevant theoretical and philosophical issues explored. This builds upon knowledge gained by previous and parallel courses. The design process and outcomes are supplemented by research, discussion and lectures to assimilate a rich reference store of the culture of design.
Candidates are eligible to apply for BVoc course if they have successfully completed Class XII from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks.
