Mechanical Engineering is measured to be the most varied amongst the engineering fields, Mechanical Engineering embraces areas such as automotive systems, combustion engineering, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, control of dynamic systems, design of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes and systems, tribology, materials behavior and processing etc. In other words, Mechanical Engineers design materials, machines and other sub-systems to perform an intended function.
They approximately deal with issues related to energy conversion, interfacing mechanical components with other sub-systems, interfacing man and machine, and the control of the different sub-systems.
